The village pub near Ebner 1822 is a special place in the upper Gurktal valley in Carinthia. A place to arrive, sit together and enjoy. Barbara Sonnleitner cooks here with a flair for good produce, traditional cuisine and genuine hospitality.
The village pub is certified organic and stands for honest, seasonal cuisine with high-quality regional ingredients. We eat together at a large table - just like in the old days in the village. That's what makes this place special: good food, a warm atmosphere and the lovely feeling of simply being there for a few hours.

In the Village pub it's not the menu that takes centre stage - it's the moment.
Our guests can be inspired by Barbara who, with a keen sense for the Season, Region and quality cooks. What's on the table is based on what nature has to offer - fresh, honest and prepared with love.
There are No fixed menu. Instead, you can expect Daily recommendations from Barbaradown-to-earth interpretation, finely flavoured and natural organic. Most of the ingredients used are locally sourced from organic farming, many of them from our own neighbourhood.
Particularly pleasant: Guests can enjoy the food not only in the village pub, but also in the privacy of their own chalet - in peace and quiet, in front of the fireplace or on the terrace, just as it suits your personal holiday moment.
