Three houses. A sense of calm.
Handcrafted natural homes made from wood, straw, and clay – with plenty of privacy, a breakfast basket, natural pond, and space for days that are allowed to slow down.
A home of its own. And plenty of peace and quiet all around.
At Ebner 1822, you won't be staying in a hotel room or a run-of-the-mill chalet. You'll be staying in one of only three private nature houses at an altitude of around 1,000 metres.
Each house is designed for two people. With a private entrance, terrace, log burner, infrared cabin, freestanding bathtub with a view, and the natural pond just a few steps away.
In the morning, the breakfast basket is outside your door. After that, the day is yours: by the water, in the house, on the terrace, or with an evening in the village inn.
Three private houses.
No lobby, no hotel operations, no crowds. Instead: your own holiday home, plenty of space, and a place that consciously remains small.
Built from wood, straw, and clay.
Natural materials, handcrafted and built with respect for the location. The result is an atmosphere you can feel upon arrival.
Time for two.
Breakfast by the pond, a fireplace on a rainy day, a bathtub with a view of nature. Our homes are made for quiet days for two.
As natural as a house can be.
Wood brings warmth into rooms. Clay provides natural surfaces and a pleasant atmosphere. Straw insulates in a simple, honest way. Together, this creates a house that is simply good for you.
At Ebner 1822, many things are kept simple: a private house, natural materials, a breakfast basket at your door, the natural pond on the farm, and hosts who are there when you need them.

What every natural house brings.
A home of its own. And plenty of space around it.
Our nature houses are designed for conscious travellers: couples, adults seeking peace, and guests who wish to experience Carinthia privately, close to nature, and with plenty of tranquillity.
The more our lives are determined by technology, the more valuable nature becomes.
In the video, learn how our natural houses were built from wood, straw, and clay.
Rooms that enrich life
We create living spaces that fulfil today's living requirements and at the same time convey respect for nature, animals and people.
Creativity and sustainability as guiding principles
We rely on creativity to use limited resources to create impressive, ecologically sustainable buildings that blend harmoniously into the landscape.
Ecological building as an obligation
Our buildings have no impact on nature or the environment and blend in perfectly with the traditional landscape.
Our vision: Satisfaction through sensory experiences Find benefits - experience satisfaction
In a hectic world, we create spaces in which real satisfaction is achieved through conscious sensory experiences.
A world full of sensory stimuli
By immersing themselves in an environment that appeals to all the senses, our guests learn to appreciate the liveliness of a simple life.
A place of inner balance
Our environment is designed to help guests find their inner balance, far away from consumerism and stress.
Landscape design - nature and culture in harmony
Our landscaping utilises the natural vegetation and creates habitats for insects, birds and amphibians. Watercourses from the stream feed the ponds and biotopes, while the trees are carefully integrated.
